Kayla has had speech therapy and our doctor recommended that we get her an in-depth ear exam. They found that she couldn't hear certain tones and that there was significant fluid and they determined that she needed to get tubes. This probably had affected her speech. (This whole process took a few months)
This picture is the pre-surgery "loopy" Kayla. She was loopy because she was pretty scared about the whole thing so the doctor recommended a shot to help calm her down. It worked! :) She was so cute and did great! The tubes have helped a lot and we've been keeping up on her checkups.
