Happy Birthday Sweet Kayla!

Today was Kayla's birthday and she was SO EXCITED! She got up earlier than usual and we actually made her wait a little because it was too early for mom and dad! We ate breakfast together before we had her open her presents. We let her choose her breakfast (and even offered chocolate chip waffles!) but she just wanted cereal! We got her a Leapster with a Disney Princess game and a remote control car that blows bubbles while it drives. She loved it and she also got some clothes and cards and cash from grandparents. She wanted to use her birthday money to go to Chuck E. Cheese's. It was a fun day!

We just want to say how special Kayla is. We love her little hugs and kisses and when she tells us she loves us. She has the cutest laugh! She is the biggest ball of energy and can run, jump, spin, etc forever! She is also quite the artist and makes cute drawings of our family. Whenever she makes drawings for us at school she makes us close our eyes and surprises us with them! It's fun to overhear her when she pretends with her dolls. We can't help but overhear her when she sings to herself in the bathroom! (Opera style with all the vibrato! She knows acoustics when she hears them!) She will be quite the reader because we've already caught her staying up late looking at her books now. In fact, one time she was sleeping over at her cousins house and we caught her at the little night light struggling to read his books! We probably wouldn't have found out but we had to rescue her from an avalanche of books falling on her!

Overall, she is just a sweet, fun, hardworking, cutie pie. We love you Kayla!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Well, I just read all the new stuff you posted and all I have to say is...

I miss you.

I laughed and laughed at Kayla trying to sneak out to mail letters to her grandmas. It totally sounds like something Sadie would do.

Oh, and we saw Brian Reagan on TV a few weeks ago and it made us think of you guys!

Glad everything is going well!
