Kayla and Makenna were so excited when they woke up to find their baskets and the eggs left for them. It was so fun! I think Makenna was so excited to not only find the eggs, but then discovery that they opened and inside were sugary jelly beans! She didn't collect as many eggs as Kayla....she enjoyed eating what was inside.
As you can see, the Easter bunny did nibble on the carrots, and he drank the milk.
Makenna didn't want me to do anything to her hair. I attempted to put on a headband at least, which she would ripoff, so this ended up being the best picture, she's still cute! Kayla liked the matching dresses she and Makenna wore. They are pretty cute. And nothing like a head rub train!
We were lucky to have Michael and Ruth staying with us, so we got to have our Easter festivities with them. Grandma Carol also got to come over when her church meetings were over. It was a lot of fun!
Later on, after Easter actually, Kayla and I made glitter eggs. Dave joined in too. You poke holes in both ends of the egg shell and blow the yolk and egg white out. Be careful to clean the egg off really well, and not to get any egg on you. After we did that we colored the empty eggs and then glitterized them! We saved them for next Easter so we could tie ribbon to hang them up to decorate. We had fun!
