We have really had a fun summer in both Colorado and Alabama. I wanted to highlight some of the fun things we did in Colorado Springs. We checked out our library and Kayla did the summer reading program there. She loves going to the library to get books, but truth be told, loves to play games on their computers. We all went to a few bbq's with people from Dave's work. We saw best friends from high school. We took Kayla to a family play center. I has a buffet and inside the building has rides and video games. That was definitely a special treat! It was a little pricey, but really fun. Kayla had a blast. Dave's work sponser from Peterson AFB was leaving for a new job, so some of the guys got it approved to take off an afternoon for a tailgate bbq and then go to a SkySox game. Kayla and I were invited too! Kayla had gotten free tickets from her library reading program final prize, so we got in free. It was really fun!
