Car Accident

Two weeks before we were leaving for Alabama we got rear-ended. No one was hurt, which we are grateful to Heavenly Father for. So, if you were praying for our protection that day, your prayer was answered! Thank you! We were stopped at a red light, and got hit. The girl was 19, and spaced out or something. Dave was saying the light had just barely turned green, so maybe she just saw the light and kept going. She didn't have a dent on her car. It was a brand new Toyota Corolla. Our bumper kinda popped off on the left a little and the back bumper is a little smashed. Our trunk is lopsided, but works still. It still is drivable, thank heavens. All in all it isn't too bad. We had our car looked at and they told us the cost to repair it exceeded the value of the car. We decided to keep the car instead of salvage it, and the insurance gave us a check for damage. So, we were leaving for Alabama and were trying to decide on another car and ended up getting a new one. We got a Hyundai Elantra with a rebate, military discount, and accident money. Our poor Ford Escort, we have been thinking of getting a new car. I guess this accident was kinda a blessing in disguise to help us get a new car and so that Dave can have a car to drive to work and I can have a run around car if Kayla and I need it, which is really nice!
