Fine Arts Museum

I think our favorite thing to do in Montgomery, Alabama is go to the Fine Arts Museum. It's free and we had a lot of fun. The art was very beautiful. It was pretty big, not huge on a grand scale, but had a lot of different styles and eras. The museum also had a kids section which was fantastic. They had a lot of different fun things. Masks, different examples of etching, stamping, hands on things, computers to create art, books, wall activities. They had a screen you could stand in front of and it made colored shapes and images from your shadow. Kayla had a blast with that...so did we! We had to use lots of persuasion to get her to leave it! Outside the museum they have acres of lawn, trees, and ponds. There is a lake in front with tons of geese. We didn't bring bread the first time, but come back later and feed the geese and turtles by the lake.

Hi Kathy! I'm so glad you guys have had a fun summer. We're finally back in Moscow. Sadie is missing Kayla, but she understands that Kayla drove the big (moving)truck far away. haha. My baby is due any moment now and I'm getting anxious. Get this boy out of me! Anyway, have a good day! It's fun to see updates!
