At one point we went by the loin's dens! That was fun because they had some spotlights inside the den and you could see the lions prowling. Usually when we go to the zoo they are sleeping, so it was cool to see them very awake at night. When we were passing by we could hear roaring. Some people commented on how it was kinda cool they had a soundtrack playing with roaring, but it was for real! I managed to find a place in the glass to see the daddy lion roaring powerfully and moving his head up and down as he did. He was about 10 ft away from me, but pretty close to the glass! Whoa, that was exciting! (I'm glad there was glass...)
Another highlight was that the kids got to see a porcupine up close. They had him on top of a cart with wheels. He looked so soft, but I had to tell Kayla quite a few times to NOT pet him! He was very cute!!! (In the picture the big brown furry thing is the porcupine, it might be hard to tell. And that's the back of Kayla's head!

)While waiting for a magician they had some music playing and Kayla and Jacob were rocking it out! This is kinda dark, my apologizes, but I thought it was so darn cute! Here's two videos of their music rhythm!
