Dave, an ASBC Grad!

Dave had a graduation on the last day in AL. Us wives with kids and babies had to watch the ceremony from their flight room, but when we got there, the computer projector had locked, so we ran down to the auditorium and a nice man directed us to the sound booth above the auditorium. While we were getting situated, they played a montage of soldiers who gave their lives during the time they were at ASBC. The music and the pictures and the sound recordings of their families made me want to ball my eyes out, I managed to stay somewhat composed. They did a montage of ASBC too and Dave’s Icarus “tummy cape” picture was in it, for a split second, and the pic with him holding Kayla with his flight in capes. Afterward they met in the flight room and got their certificates, gave their commanders gifts, said goodbye, and ran out with their arms waving in the air, well, no, but we felt like that! We were done! We raced back to our room to finish packing, and left for home! Yea!!!!! Dave did well. I’m very pleased with him and his hard work there. He was great!
