Kayla is in pre-school and she has speech classes there. She is also going to a speech clinic for supplemental help. She has made a lot of progress, but she still needs some help in areas. Her actually speech is pretty much in her age group, she is one deviation below the average, but what we are working on is the Language part. Things like grammar, sentence structure, pronouns, talking in longer expanded sentences, and being able to use spontaneous language, without a fixed model. She is doing great though. I think it took her a little bit to adjust to her new pre-school and new teachers, but she loves it!
