Garden of the Gods and Denver

(This post is late..by two weeks. Oh well)

The weather has been so nice! Dave had a Friday off so we went to Garden of the Gods. It is so beautiful! (My sister-in-law Ruth actually took some bridal pictures of me there, and she did a really good job! The red rock is so pretty.)

I was taking a picture of Dave and Kayla when a lady asked if we wanted a picture all together, how sweet! Sure! Here are some glimpses of Garden of the Gods.

Okay, this picture was just too funny to resist. Dave zoomed in and took it. You can't read the sign, but as they are taking a picture, we took one of them taking a picture with a sign in plain sight that says, "Revegatation Area Please Stay On Sidewalk" Just thought it was funny.

On Saturday we went to the temple. Dave’s sister Rachel was so sweet and watched Kayla for us so we could go. It’s been shamefully too long. On our way back from Alabama our friends the Porters were going to watch Kayla so we could go to the temple, but when Dave pulled out his recommend it had expired! Oops. So it was so good to be in the temple, finally! It was packed too. When we got there we had to wait for the next session, and there were even people waiting outside the hall from the chapel, which is good! Rachel you are awesome! Thank you!!!! We were able to hang out with Rachel’s family and be with her kids and play games. Yea!!!
