My commander's secretary was having a birthday coming up and she mentioned it a few times (I think to remind us to do SOMETHING--we're guys, we forget and don't do special things without encouragement!). Anyway, we decided to cover her entire work area with post-it notes. We also put a couple bags of shredded paper on her desk with the bottoms torn. Then, we put handfulls of shredded paper in her drawers. Finally, we taped a bag to her chair, taped the chair so it was stuck in the lowest position, and put post-its sticky side up so they would stick to her when she walked on them and sat on them.
Ok, we also made a happy birthday sign (which was nice) and added her age (which wasn't so nice) and brought cupcakes and a balloon. Don't worry she loved it all. She thought it was funny and lots of people came to see it. Check out the pics below:
Below you can see the picture says, "OFFICE, A place where you can relax after a strenuous home life." And the computer screen has tons of little notes with her age and underneath the privacy screen her screen is covered with more little notes. Good times.
